In China, the market price for graphitized carburants (C≥98%, S≤0.05%, size: 1-5mm) ranged between 3,300 and 3,600 yuan/ton. The price for semi-graphitized carburants (C≥98%, S≤0.3%, size: 1-5mm) was between 2,800 and 3,100 yuan/ton.

Supply Side:

Graphitized PetCoke carburant enterprises continued normal production operations. Some companies outsourced graphitization furnace processing, while certain anode material companies partially used carburants for crucibles or box boards. With the decline in anode material graphitization production, the supply of Graphitized PetCoke carburants is expected to gradually decrease.

Upstream Market:

Calcined Petroleum Coke (cpc): The sales of mid-to-high sulfur grades varied, with some companies continuing to lower the prices for 3.5% sulfur standard products.

Raw Material Prices:

• Average Market Price of Medium Sulfur Calcined Coke (S<3.0%): 1,970 yuan/ton

• Average Market Price of Medium Sulfur Calcined Coke (S<3.5%): 1,717 yuan/ton

Downstream Market:

Steel: As steel prices across various regions continue to hit new lows, the profitability rate of steel enterprises has declined to historical lows, leading to an increase in production halts and maintenance, which has weakened demand for carburants.

With weak support from both the cost and demand sides, Graphitized PetCoke carburant prices are expected to continue running weakly stable.
