Mysteel News: China graphitized recarburizer market price disorder

Recently, China graphitized recarburizer price is confused, and some specifications' prices are down 200 yuan/ton from the beginning of the month. 

Graphitization recarburizer (C≥98%, S≤0.05%, N≤300ppm, particle size: 1-5mm) mainstream price is 6800-7000 yuan/ton; Semi-graphitized recarburizer (C≥98%, S≤0.3%, particle size: 1-5mm) mainstream price is 6000-6200 yuan/ton, and the downstream demand is general. 

In terms of raw materials, East China high-sulfur high-end petroleum coke market price is 2090 yuan/ton, an increase of 50 yuan/ton from the beginning of the month. Recently, the overall market supply is abundant, the downstream market demand is flat, electrolytic aluminum price fluctuates slightly, and the good support for medium-high sulfur coke is slightly weak. The market trading sentiment was light, while wait-and-see sentiment gradually strengthened. In the short run, petroleum coke market price is expected to stabilize temporarily.

In terms of the current market, petroleum coke price has not driven the price of graphitized recarburizer, but caused its price to decline. The support of raw materials for recarburizer is obviously insufficient, and supply and demand has risen to the main influencing factor. From the current downstream steel market and casting market, the demand is lower than the early stage, the market operates normally, and the downstream construction site is delayed, the steel demand is poor, the steel inventory is accumulated, and the raw material market is weak.
