In July 2022, China's artificial graphite exports decreased by about 14.7% MoM

Ⅰ. In terms of imports: from January to July 2022, China's artificial graphite imports totaled 15933.5 tons, a decrease of about 2% year-on-year, and the total import value was about 860 million yuan, an increase of about 13.2% year-on-year. 

In July 2022, China's artificial graphite imports totaled 2154.42 tons, a decrease of about 19.3% over July last year and a decrease of about 19.4% over June this year.

As shown in the figure below, the artificial graphite import unit price rose in July, about 57741 yuan/ton, up about 10.3% from June.

 II. In terms of Exports: from January to July 2022, China's artificial graphite exports totaled about 217000 tons. From January to July 2021, the total export volume was about 224000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of about 3.1%. This year's export value was about 3.55 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of about 28.2%.

In July 2022, China's artificial graphite exports totaled 31910.4 tons. In June, China's artificial graphite exports totaled 37391.6 tons, a decrease of about 14.7% from July to June, and an increase of about 6.7% over July last year.
