【Graphitized Petroleum Coke Carburant Prices】

Recently, domestic prices for graphitized petroleum coke carburants in China have been in a state of confusion, with some markets showing widening price differentials. The prices for graphitized carburants (C≥98%, S≤0.05%, N≤300ppm, particle size: 1-5mm) range from 4,900 to 5,000 CNY/ton, with a few at 4,500 to 4,600 CNY/ton. Prices for semi-graphitized carburants (C≥98%, S≤0.3%, particle size: 1-5mm) are in the range of 4,200 to 4,300 CNY/ton, while other specifications (C≥98%, S≤0.5%, particle size: 1-5mm) are at 3,900 to 4,000 CNY/ton. Transactions have been generally moderate.

Regarding raw materials, the price of high-sulfur coke in the East China market is 1,500 CNY/ton, and it has remained stable over the past half-month. Petroleum coke trading has been relatively stable, with some refinery inventories on the rise. The impact of raw materials on graphitized carburants has weakened, with the dominant influence being the relatively weak demand from steel mills and foundries. Graphitized carburant manufacturers are adjusting their quotations based on their own inventory situations, leading to relatively chaotic prices. It is expected that domestic prices for graphitized carburants in China will remain weakly stable in the short term.
