• Iron and steel enterprises: Shougang Qian'an Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. plant and Shougang Jingtang Iron & Steel United Co., Ltd. plant independently took emission reduction measures, and 20 steel enterprises took measures to stop and limit production, involving 71 blast furnaces and 63 converters.

  
  

• Coking enterprises: Xishan coking and Meijin coking reduce emissions independently. The production plans of HSBC coking, Yongshun coking, Rongyi coking, Guoyi coking, Guochuang coking, Dafeng coking, Jing'an coking, Zongheng coking, Baoliyuan coking, Hongao industry and trade, Sinochem coal chemical, Jiujiang coking, Guyu coking, Dongfang coking, Zhongrun coal chemical and Youli coking are based on 48 hour turnover, wet coke quenching is prohibited.

  The performance evaluation of foundry, slag powder, refractory and other industries is grade A, and the leading enterprises reduce emissions independently, and the grade B and below and non-leading enterprises implement production regulation.

  From November 15 to 19, 2021, the mine stopped production and transportation.   From 12:00 on November 13 to 24:00 on November 19, 2021, heavy vehicles such as construction waste and muck transport trucks, concrete tank trucks and sand transport trucks (National IV and below) in Jinzhong City will be banned 24 hours a day (including vehicles that have obtained permits).

  From 0:00 on November 14, Deyang, Mianyang, Nanchong, Guang'an, Dazhou and Meishan were upgraded from a yellow alert to an orange alert. It is advocated that enterprises and institutions can adopt flexible working systems such as off-duty, off-peak work and remote work according to the actual situation of heavy pollution and emergency forced response measures.

When will the 2021 to 2022 shutdown limit production end?

It depends on the local notices and arrangements. If the pollution is not serious, the shutdown and production restriction will be ended. For example, in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, the work stoppage and production restriction were free for four days and ended in late November. However, if the pollution in some areas is serious, the shutdown and production restriction time will also be extended. Tangshan said the end of the period needs to be notified separately, but it will generally end before the end of December.
