In late May 2022, the key statistics show that iron and steel enterprises produce 25.519 million tons of crude steel, 22.528 million tons of pig iron, 24.9286 million tons of steel products, among which, crude steel daily production was 2,319,300 tons, a month-on-month increase of 0.88%; Pig iron daily production was 2,046,600 tons, a month-on-month increase of 0.78%; Steel products daily production was 2,266,200 tons, a month-on-month increase of 2.11%. According to the statistics of the ten day report in late May, the key statistics, in May the key statistics of iron and steel enterprises accumulated a daily production of 2.3030 million tons of crude steel, a month-on-month increase of 1.34% and a year-on-year decrease of 2.19%; Pig iron daily production was 2,030,500 tons, a month-on-month increase of 2.19% and a year-on-year increase of 0.83%; Steel products daily production was 2,212,300 tons, a month-on-month increase of 1.59% and a year-on-year decrease of 3.47%.

Key statistics on main steel products production of iron and steel enterprises

According to the key statistics of iron and steel enterprises output, in the ten day of May, crude steel total production was 34.817 million tons, pig iron total production was 28.9732 million tons, steel products total production was 43.8735 million tons, among which, crude steel daily production was 3.1652 million tons, a month-on-month increase of  0.40%, pig iron daily production was 2.6339 million tons, a month-on-month increase of  0.62%, Steel products daily production was 3.9885 million tons, a month-on-month increase of  0.68%.

According to the estimate,  crude steel daily production in May was 3.1325 million tons, a month-on-month increase of 1.29% and a year-on-year decrease of 2.36%; Pig iron daily production was 262.93 million tons, a month-on-month increase of 2.73% and a year-on-year increase of 4.30%. Steel products daily production was 3.9364 million tons, a month-on-month increase of 2.84% and a year-on-year decrease of 2.13%.

By the end of May 2022, key statistics on steel stocks in iron and steel enterprises reached 17.9424 million tons, a decrease of 2.035 million tons or 10.19% over the previous ten days; A decrease of 146,300 tons or 0.81% over the end of last month (i.e. the same day of last month); An increase of 6.6455 million tons or 58.83% over the beginning of the year; An increase of 4.5286 million tons or 33.76% over the same period last year.
