    According to China Trade Remedy Information Network, on July 20, the European Commission announced that the EU decided to terminate the anti-subsidy investigation of graphite electrode systems originating in China in response to the application for cancellation of the investigation submitted by the applicant on May 9, 2022. The measures will take effect from the day after the announcement. The products involved have apparent specific gravity greater than or equal to 1.5g/cm3 and resistance less than or equal to 7.0 μ.Ω. m. Graphite electrodes for electric furnaces, whether equipped with nipples or not, involving products under the EU CN (Combined Nomenclature) code ex 8545 1100 (TARIC codes 8545 1100 10 and 8545 1100 15). 


    On November 18, 2021, the European Commission announced that in response to the application filed by EU enterprises graphite Cova GmbH, Showa Denko Carbon Holding GmbH and Tokai Erft Carbon GmbH on October 4, 2021, The European Commission has launched an anti-subsidy investigation into graphite electrode systems originating in China. 


    On February 17, 2021, the European Commission announced that the European Commission would conduct an anti-dumping investigation on the graphite electrode system originating in China in response to the application filed by the European enterprises graphite Cova GmbH, Showa Denko carbon holding GmbH and Tokai Erft carbon GmbH on January 4, 2021. On April 6, 2022, the European Commission officially imposed anti-dumping duties on China's graphite electrode system, with a tax rate of 23.0% - 74.9%.
