Eu terminates anti-subsidy investigation into China's graphite electrode system

    According to China Trade Remedy Information Network, on July 20, the European Commission announced that the EU decided to terminate the anti-subsidy investigation of graphite electrode systems originating in China in response to the application for cancellation of the investigation submitted by the applicant on May 9, 2022. The measures will take effect from the day after the announcement. The products involved have apparent specific gravity greater than or equal to 1.5g/cm³ and resistance less than or equal to 7.0 μ.Ω. m. Graphite electrodes for electric furnaces, whether equipped with nipples or not, involving products under the EU CN (Combined Nomenclature) code ex 8545 1100 (TARIC codes 8545 1100 10 and 8545 1100 15).
