Mysteel: Blast furnace steel plants' profit rate changes investigation and statistics
According to Mysteel's survey, the profit rate of blast furnaces in 247 steel plants was 41.99%, up 22.94% month-on-month and down 45.89% year-on-year. In general, steel plants' profit rate continued to rise. Graphite electrode product information for electric furnace steelmaking, for reference. Recently, the finished steel products have rebounded, and some steel plants continue to turn losses into profits, for instance, the recovery in Northwest and Central China is more obvious. The value in Central China increased by 35% compared with the previous period, but decreased by 55% compared with the same period last year; The Northwest region increased by 33.33% compared with the previous period and decreased by 50% compared with the same period last year. It can also be seen from the survey data that with the recovery of finished product profits, the steel plants overhauled in the early stage have resumed production recently, and the operating rate and capacity utilization rate of the steel plants have also increased slightly. For the later market, profit recovery is the main factor, and the possibility that the steel plant will continue to resume production is not ruled out.

Instructions:
1) Steel plants profit rate: Refers to the ratio of the number of steel plants in profit status to the total number of sample steel plants as of the survey time point; Profit status refers to whether the cash profit of the steel produced by the sample steel plant is profitable.
2) Blast furnace capacity utilization rate: Refers to the ratio of the daily average hot metal output of the normal production blast furnace in the statistical sample to the daily average total hot metal output of the sample blast furnace as of the survey time point.
