Graphitization price is close to the bottom

Negative graphitization, because the graphitization construction period has lasted for two years, which is enough to expand and release production capacity, so graphitization price should be very competitive this year, which has been close to some manufacturers' cost line and reached the bottom in the first quarter. After high temperature graphitization, graphite electrode is widely used for smelting steel in electric arc furnace. 

For graphitization, the price is between 1.2-1.5w, and some newly entered enterprises have suffered losses, accounting for about 30%. Therefore, prices are expected to bottom out in the first quarter and thus remain relatively stable this year. Twenty years ago, large plants had a relatively low self-sufficiency rate in graphitization, so many of them were small plants with not much capacity above 5,000 tons. Once these plants start losing money, they could not support for long. So this price is already the bottom price.

For the negative material manufacturers, the subsequent capacity increase is indeed more. Negative electrode materials are non-standard products, and there are more processing links. Each part should be slightly compressed. Under the existing equipment conditions, different manufacturers have different degrees of control in each link.
