Supply: Next week, there are still plans for maintenance and shutdown of coking facilities in China, but trading firms at ports show strong willingness to deliver, leading to a continued decrease in petroleum coke inventory at ports. Overall, the petroleum coke market is adequately supplied, and calcined coke products are available for direct supply. 

Demand: The power supply in Yunnan province is expected to increase significantly after alleviating the restrictions, resulting in a rise in aluminum electrolysis production. The overall demand remains stable. Some graphite electrode manufacturers are still reducing production, which limits the purchasing enthusiasm for petroleum coke in the short term. However, with the rapid growth of the market share of new energy vehicles and the expansion of the energy storage market, the demand for negative electrodes is expected to improve. Terminal demand has not shown substantial improvement, and the demand for metallurgical silicon and silicon carbide may continue to be weak.

In summary, the increased production of metallurgical silicon and aluminum electrolysis indicates a positive demand for petroleum coke. However, the overall market remains weak. As domestic coke prices continue to rise, downstream buyers have shifted towards on-demand purchasing, and refineries focus on delivering larger volumes. It is predicted that the petroleum coke market will stabilize next week, with slight price increases of 50-100 CNY/ton.
