We need to conserve thermal coal in a scientific way, effectively increase peak power generation capacity, promote the full development of clean energy such as wind power, hydropower, nuclear power and photovoltaics, and coordinate efforts to increase power supply capacity through multiple channels.

We should take the implementation of increasing coal production and supply as the top priority of our current work, further strengthen the analysis and judgment of the demand situation, make no effort to relax, do everything possible and continue to make efforts, and accelerate the release of advanced coal production capacity in accordance with laws and regulations on the premise of strict implementation of national policies; Scientifically formulate the production plan, adjust the product structure, increase the output of power coal, timely transport scheduling, strengthen the procurement of imported coal, organize resources to the greatest extent, and make every effort to increase coal production and supply.

Hao Peng stressed that the party committees (Party groups) of central enterprises should strengthen organizational leadership and give full play to the fighting fortress role of grass-roots party organizations and the vanguard and exemplary role of Party members and cadres in winning the battle to ensure supply.
