【Carburant】Market Overview (as of December 19)

As of December 19, China's carburant market remains stable. For graphite carburantswith C≥98.5%, S≤0.05%, and particle size 1-5mm, prices are around 3200-3300 yuan/ton (including tax). Semi-graphitized carburantswith C≥98.5%, S≤0.3%, and particle size 1-5mm are priced at 2900-3000 yuan/ton (including tax).

Raw Materials: The petroleum coke market is active, with an average price of 2350 yuan/ton. Sinopec refineries are selling smoothly, with some prices rising by 20-40 yuan/ton. PetroChina refineries maintain stable prices, while CNOOC refineries see price increases of 10-50 yuan/ton. Independent refinery petroleum coke averages 1851 yuan/ton, up 5 yuan/ton from the previous trading day, with good sales. Active downstream procurement provides strong support for graphite carburant prices.

Demand: Steel prices are fluctuating within a narrow range, with limited room for increase or decrease. As temperatures drop, market demand weakens, reducing steel production enthusiasm and leading to moderate demand for graphite carburants. This lack of demand limits significant price increases in the short term.

Calcined Coal Carburants: Some prices have decreased by 20-30 yuan/ton. For 90% carbon content, ordinary quality is priced at 1805 yuan/ton, and high quality at 1945 yuan/ton. For 92% carbon content, ordinary quality is 1995 yuan/ton, and high quality at 2125 yuan/ton. These are ex-factory prices including tax, with average sales.

Raw Materials: Anthracite production has slightly decreased due to environmental alerts in some regions, limiting logistics. With subpar downstream purchasing and accumulating inventories, anthracite prices are under downward pressure.

Downstream Transactions: Some calcined coal carburant procurement prices have slightly decreased by 20 yuan/ton. Most manufacturers maintain firm quotations with no significant price fluctuations. In the short term, calcined coal carburant prices are expected to remain stable to slightly weak.
