Recently, China's graphite electrode market has been stable.

At present, graphite electrode upstream low sulfur petroleum coke prices continue to rise, and  graphite electrode production costs are still high. However, the shutdown of steel plants basically belongs to the expected seasonal shutdown, most will resume production after the holiday. When the Winter Olympics come to a close, the terminal steel demand is expected to increase, graphite electrode supply is expected to be tight. After the festival, the electrode market may be in short supply, and the price is expected to rise steadily.
