As of March 20, 2022, graphite electrode market price in China had increased. The prices of upstream raw materials needle coke and low sulfur petroleum coke increased; The demand for downstream negative electrode materials was strong,  graphite electrode market process processing cost increased, graphite electrode enterprises was under cost pressure, the market profit space was reduced, graphite electrode enterprises have a strong desire to increase price in order to reduce the losses caused by cost increase. In the short term, under high cost pressure the overall graphite electrode market is still expected to has an upward trend.

Price trend

As of March 20, 2022, the market price of graphite electrode:

1. Regular power graphite electrode (300mm ~ 600mm) is 20000 ~ 24000 yuan/ton;

2. High power graphite electrode (300mm ~ 600mm)  is 22000 ~ 25000 yuan/ton;
