Raw material aspect: Raw coke market was traded actively, the mainstream market prices maintained stable, and the local refineries price continues to rise. With the rapid development of China's new energy industry, the negative electrode capacity has increased year by year, the demand for calcined coke has increased, and the price has increased accordingly. In particular, the high quality and low sulfur calcined coke market has little supply and high price, which supports the cost of graphite electrode.

Demand aspect: The main terminal application of graphite electrode in China is electric furnace steelmaking. After the Spring Festival holiday, the production resumption rate is low, the steel market demand is low, and the operating rate of iron and steel enterprises and the procurement of traders are low, and the demand for graphite electrode remains at a medium and low level.
