In recent years, China's exports of new energy vehicles, lithium batteries, solar cells, and other green low-carbon products have performed well, becoming a new growth point for China's foreign trade exports. Information about related anode supporting products is available.

On April 13, the State Council Information Office held a press conference on the import and export situation in the first quarter of 2023, and Lu Daliang, spokesperson and Director of the Statistical Analysis Department of the General Administration of Customs, introduced the export situation of China's green and low-carbon products in the first quarter. Lu Daliang said that in recent years, the global emphasis on new energy and green and low-carbon fields has gradually increased, and the strong international market demand has driven the growth of China's green and low-carbon product exports. In the first quarter, China's exports of electric passenger vehicles, lithium batteries, and solar cells, commonly known as the "New Three," totaled 2,646.9 billion yuan, up 66.9% year-on-year, and accounting for 4.7% of China's total exports, up 1.7 percentage points year-on-year. The export of the "New Three" has the following main characteristics: 

1. The driving force for overall export growth continues to increase. Last year, the "New Three" drove China's overall export growth by 1.7 percentage points, and this year, the driving effect has further increased, driving overall export growth by 2 percentage points in the first quarter.
2. Rapid export growth to major trading partners. In the first quarter of this year, China's "New Three" exported to more than 200 countries and regions worldwide, with exports to the top five markets of the European Union, the United States, ASEAN, South Korea, and the United Kingdom growing by 88.7%, 88.1%, 103.5%, 121.7%, and 118.2% respectively, accounting for 71.6% of the total value of "New Three" exports.
3. Various foreign trade entities are competing to increase exports. In the first quarter, private enterprises, foreign-invested enterprises, and state-owned enterprises all achieved rapid growth in exporting the "New Three," with growth rates of 79.3%, 40.9%, and 121.9% respectively. Among them, private enterprises accounted for 65.4% of the total value of "New Three" exports, up 4.5 percentage points year-on-year, higher than the proportion of private enterprises in total exports.
4. Electric passenger vehicles lead the "New Three." In the first quarter, exports of electric passenger vehicles reached 647.5 billion yuan, up 122.3%, the fastest growth rate among the "New Three," and accounting for 43.9% of China's automobile exports, up 5.1 percentage points. At the same time, driven by multiple factors such as strong demand in the foreign electric vehicle and energy storage markets, lithium battery exports reached 1097.9 billion yuan, with a growth rate of 94.3%, and solar cell exports exceeded 900 billion yuan, up 23.6%.
