During this week (September 18-22), the prices have surged as follows: Ultra-high power Φ350 up by 1000 RMB/ton to 16500 RMB/ton; Ultra-high power Φ400 up by 1000 RMB/ton to 16500 RMB/ton; Ultra-high power Φ450 up by 1000 RMB/ton to 17000 RMB/ton; Ultra-high power Φ500 up by 1000 RMB/ton to 17500 RMB/ton; Ultra-high power Φ600 up by 1500 RMB/ton to 21000 RMB/ton; Ultra-high power Φ700 up by 1000 RMB/ton to 24000 RMB/ton. High power graphite electrodes are currently priced between 15000-16000 RMB/ton, and ordinary power graphite electrodes are priced between 14500-15500 RMB/ton.

On September 22nd, the domestic graphite electrode market demonstrated good trading conditions with stable prices, and the average market price for mainstream specifications stood at 17695 RMB/ton. In the first half of this year, the graphite electrode market suffered from insufficient overall production capacity, and companies, unable to bear the pressure of losses, were forced to limit production.
