Upstream Market: 

1. Low Sulfur Petroleum Coke: Northeast China's high-quality low-sulfur coke (from Daqing and Fushun) saw reduced refinery stocks after prior price cuts; Jinzhou Petroleum Coke had occasional high sulfur content; Liaohe Petroleum Coke saw a slight increase in bid prices; Northwest China's market performance was decent with low refinery stocks.

2. Low Sulfur Calcined Coke: Prices for calcined coke using Jinxi and Jinzhou feedstock were 3,400-3,600 RMB/ton; Fushun feedstock ranged 4,460-4,850 RMB/ton; Liaohe and Binzhou CNOOC feedstock prices were 3,150-3,400 RMB/ton.

3. Needle Coke: China's needle coke market was stable with a slight increase in supply. Oil-based needle coke production resumed in Liaoning and Shandong, while coal-based needle coke production in Liaoning resumed at the start of the month, with a current operational rate of 38.52%.

Downstream Market:

Steel: Steel mills mainly bid based on demand and were cautious with graphite electrode purchases, relying primarily on existing inventory.

The downstream market saw some staged bidding, but orders were scattered. Graphite electrode manufacturers remained cautious, adopting a wait-and-see approach, with the market expected to stay stable in the short term.
