Affected by the end of national subsidy policy and the accumulation of battery and vehicle inventory, the procurement of negative electrode materials has not improved significantly; In addition, the digital terminal demand continued to be weak, and negative electrode overall demand only increased slightly in February.

On the supply side, most of the new orders in the downstream are concentrated in leading enterprises, driving their operating rate to increase. However, the recovery of demand is slow and prices are falling. Some manufacturers still have no orders to support their operations this month, and the overall market supply only increased slightly.

 

Downstream demand was still recovering in March, and the growth of new orders was limited. However, some negative electrode manufacturers expect better downstream demand in the future. In addition, the negative electrode production cycle is long, and the manufacturer has improved production scheduling and prepared for storage in advance. Market supply is still expected to increase.
