【Low-Sulfur Petroleum Coke】Stable Market Shipments, Fewer Inquiries for Negative Electrode Materials Procurement

The main refineries operate at stable prices. Sinopec refineries focus on stable shipments, while Jinzhou, Jinxi, and Jilin Petrochemicals continue their pricing policies. After price adjustments, Urumqi Petrochemicals will ship according to the latest prices. The maintenance period of Taizhou CNOOC is coming to an end, and there are plans to release coke in the near future. Modified coal tar pitch market prices have been reduced by 273 yuan/ton, with mainstream prices ranging from 4,300 to 4,500 yuan/ton. Low-sulfur slurry prices have been increased by 40 yuan/ton, with mainstream prices ranging from 3,750 to 3,850 yuan/ton. The needle coke market has poor shipments, and market prices still show a downward trend. Upstream and downstream stakeholders remain cautious.

In the negative electrode market, prices for low-end products remain stable. Currently, the market is characterized by "low-price competition," which is expected to continue for a considerable period. "Cost reduction and efficiency improvement" are the main pressures faced by negative electrode manufacturers. The overall competition in the market is intense.
