Weak supply and demand, graphite electrode prices remain stable

Current review:

On July 12, 2022,  China's graphite electrode market price was weak and stable. Upstream raw material prices were still high, and the production cost has not been reduced; The downstream steel plants have been closed for maintenance and the operating rate has decreased. Steel plants purchase on demand. In order to reduce risks, graphite electrode enterprises reduce production and prices. It is expected that, the supply and demand of graphite electrode market will be weak and will not be easy to change in the short term. The market price will mainly be stable.

Current graphite electrode prices:

1. RP graphite electrode (300mm~600mm) is 22500~24500 yuan/ton;

2. HP graphite electrode (300mm~600mm) is 23500~26500 yuan/ton;

3. UHP Graphite electrode (300mm~600mm) is 24500~28500 yuan/ton.
