On February 24, the official website of the China Carbon Industry Association released the "Completion of Economic Indicators of Member Enterprises in China's Carbon Industry in 2025." According to the statistics on economic indicator performance, in 2025 the total industrial output value reached RMB 34.690 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 8.27%.

Among them, carbon anodes refer to aggregated data of commercial production enterprises included in the statistical scope of member units.

In terms of output, total carbon product production reached 8.1876 million tons, up 4.42% year-on-year. Among them, graphite electrode output was 732,300 tons, down 2.90% year-on-year; ordinary power graphite electrode output was 92,400 tons, down 8.51% year-on-year; ultra-high power graphite electrode output was 407,600 tons, down 8.58% year-on-year; carbon anode output was 6.1294 million tons, up 6.26% year-on-year; carbon electrode output was 178,900 tons, up 21.06% year-on-year; carbon paste output was 564,700 tons, down 4.2% year-on-year.

In terms of sales revenue, the carbon industry achieved RMB 33.235 billion in revenue, up 3.20% year-on-year; total profits and taxes reached RMB 1.998 billion, up 17.22% year-on-year; total profit amounted to RMB 1.125 billion, up 5.09% year-on-year.

Regarding export data, in 2025 total exports of carbon products reached 776,100 tons, down 0.51% year-on-year, generating USD 862 million in foreign exchange earnings, up 9.37% year-on-year. Among them, graphite electrode exports totaled 140,700 tons, up 7.04% year-on-year, while carbon anode exports reached 582,400 tons, down 2.62% year-on-year.
